Future Fibres

AwhiWorld supports creatives in integrating e-textiles, biomaterials and other future fibres into their practice. Through workshops, coaching, and research supervision, we actively work to build capacity in community-based research and experimentation.

We create dynamic environments where artists can explore the intersection of traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. The goal is to empower artists to seamlessly blend heritage techniques with modern innovations, bridging the rich history of fibre and craft arts and the exciting possibilities that advances in science and technology bring.
